Gustavo Adolfo Guerra Vásquez (Gender pronouns: he/him/él) is a recognized expert on inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA) efforts. Throughout his career, Gustavo has led efforts providing capacity-building and technical assistance to organizations on IDEA. Born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles, he ִhas lived in various parts of California as well. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American and Latino/a/x Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Gustavo acquired a graduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley in Comparative Ethnic Studies with coursework in a Designated Emphasis on Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
Mr. Guerra Vásquez is trained in Advanced Conflict Mediation and has worked in inclusion, diversity, equity and access training and development for over twenty years. His artistic and academic work has been published in several anthologies. A multi-disciplinary artist and dynamic presenter, Gustavo employs creative training methods in order to bridge the real with the IDEAL.
